Hi, I’m Blackie Swart, and one of my greatest passions is catching snakes. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by these incredible creatures. Whether it’s a harmless garden snake or a more dangerous species, I approach them with care and respect. My goal is always the same—to safely catch them and release them back into the wild where they belong. There’s something deeply rewarding about ensuring both the snake and the people around are safe.
For me, it’s not just about the thrill of catching snakes, but also understanding their role in nature. I enjoy educating people to help them overcome their fear of these misunderstood creatures. Releasing a snake back into the wild unharmed gives me a great sense of fulfillment, knowing I’ve done my part in protecting the balance of nature.
There’s something special about seeing someone’s fear turn into curiosity. Educating people about snakes and watching them gain respect for these animals makes my work even more rewarding.
